Dermal Cocktails are a revolutionary treatment of skin-needling combined with highly concentrated serums, deeply penetrated into the skin for next level transformative results. They are the single most nourishing and transformative non-surgical procedure available for your skin today. We got all the deets from skin experts at  Brooklyn Cosmetic Clinic, here’s why they’re here to stay.

What’s so good about Dermal Cocktails?

Firstly, skin needling on its own is a must – it works by gently penetrating the surface of the skin to stimulate collagen formulation and elastin production through the skin’s natural healing process. But this combined with one of the six infusions is what makes this treatment so effective.

Each cocktail contains its own superpower, fighting a wide range of skin conditions with the skin-needling allowing the complex serums to more effectively penetrate the skin, giving you intensified results.

What Results Should You Expect?

Among the six different cocktails, a variety of skin concerns can be treated and in most cases reversed. Here’s what to expect from each Dermal Cocktail:

No.1 – BB PEPTIDE INFUSION
Light reflecting pigments and anti-ageing peptides combine for next generation skin rejuvenation. The light reflecting pigments are activated to create a more even and smooth colour to your skin, you’ll never want to wear makeup again. The peptides stimulate the growth of key skin proteins (collagen and elastin) to strengthen and increase skin elasticity. This cocktail won’t just make you look younger, it continuously works to reduce the signs of ageing in your skin. $249 each, $599 3-Pack (Save $150)

No.2 – WHITE PEARL INFUSION
With more active light reflecting pigments, The White Pearl Infusion helps lighten & brighten your skin. Best suited for darker skin tones, if you are already quite pale you won’t see a dramatic lightening. However, it will lighten the darker parts of your skin to provide a more even skin colour. $249 each, $599 3-Pack (Save $150)

No. 3 – STEMCELL INFUSION
This highly effective serum complex of six different plant stem cells, work to stimulate the skin’s own stem cells production. Stem cell promotes the renewal of the cells structure and assists in the repair of damaged tissue. Great for reversing the signs of facial scarring. $199 each or $499 3-Pack (Save $100)

No.4 – ANTI-WRINKLE INFUSION
The deliner extracts support the cell renewal which restores the skin’s elasticity and reduces the depth of lines and wrinkles. The added peptides help to strengthen the epidermis, stimulates cell regeneration and activate the newsynthesis of the extracellular matrix. Thereby, providing a visible anti‐wrinkle effect. $199 each, $499 3-Pack (Save $100)

No. 5 – VITAMINE C INFUSION
The active vitamin C intensifies skin protection and promotes the formation of new cells to activate skin regeneration to soothe and relieve irritation. $179 each, $449 3-Pack (Save $88)

No.6 – HYALURON INFUSION
The Hyaluronic acid replaces lost moisture in the skin. Its a hydration boost that leaves the skin smooth, supple and plump.  It activates the cell renewal process to which restores its radiance and encourages cell regeneration. $179 each, $449 3-Pack (Save $88)

HOW DOES THE TREATMENT WORK?

The treatment takes around 45 mins and starts with a double cleanse to remove all makeup and excess oils. The serum is then lathered onto your forehead and infused through the use of a dermapen. This process is then repeated down the face, under each brow, around the eyes, onto the nose, over the cheeks and around the outside of the lips. The infusion can be continued down the neck onto the decolletage, at an extra cost. Once all of the serum is infused into the skin a collagen fleece mask is applied for 10 mins to further aid in the infusion process.

The ideal Dermal Cocktail program begins with 3 infusions over 6 weeks, and then continued with another single treatment every 2 – 3 months to help maintain that makeup free, dewy glow.

WHO IS IT NOT SUITABLE FOR?

This treatment isn’t suitable for anyone with active or cystic acne (for acne check out our herbal peels) or skin prone to inflammation like psoriasis or eczema. Anyone taking hormonal medication or pregnant will need to avoid this treatment as well.
For anyone using AHA or Vitamin A/C based skin care, you’ll need to stop using those products for 2 weeks before & after the series of treatments. If you’re prone to cold sore you may need to take a preventative medication to reduce the risk of a flare-up.
